Perfect experience We had the most incredible trip with Amazon green treasure from start to finish. Our tour guide Alisson spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife and plant life and was able to answer every question we had. The trip was packed full of activities but there was also plenty of down time to chill and relax in hammocks which was much needed in the heat. An exciting 3 day experience in the jungle with an excellent guide We had an amazing 3D/2N tourist/adventure tour in the jungle with our guide Alisson. He was really knowledgeable about all the local plants and animals and made us feel safe, even on the scary night walk. The food was delicious and had enough options for the vegetarians in our group and the beds were comfortable. The huts are basic but it’s all a part of the exciting experience and we would recommend Alisson as a great guide. We did activities such as; visiting animal sanctuaries, swimming in the Amazon river, fishing for Piranha, walks through the jungle and through a local village, and a night walk to see various frogs and insects. They were all really fun. We were also able to adapt the tour to our needs as we were a group of 5 and we had a private guide. The pricing for the tour was very reasonable, as advertised on the website. This works out a huge amount cheaper than booking similar tours through the big western tour sites. The communication from Jim was also very clear over WhatsApp and we were able to organise everything easily just a few days before we wanted to start the tour (I would advise booking further in advance than we did though, just in case).

Great experience I applied for 2 days tour.I definitely recommend this company.1. I asked the company to change a plan to my favorite, and they arranged it.2. People are very kind and willing to help me enjoy the tour.3. The best decision we have made on our 9 month long travels! Wow, the past 3 Nights/4 Days exploring Pacaya Samira National Park with Juan-Carlos and Ricardo was hands down one of the best experiences of our lives.We organised this the night before, but Jim was super helpful, extremely responsive and made sure the whole organisation was seamless. All the gear was great, especially the tent which allowed us to see out at night for any animals!Juan-Carlos was an incredible guide and he spotted animals we couldn’t see for some time! He speaks great English and is super knowledgeable about animals and birds (he knows all of their sounds/songs) as well as life on the Amazon and jungle survival skills - it’s clearly in his blood. He was always ready for anything, including going on a night canoe during a rainstorm, fishing for our dinner and walking through the deep forest to spot caiman.Ricardo is also a great spotter with eyes like an eagle! Ricardo’s cooking was an experience in itself; every meal was super exciting, with lots of delicious traditional food! One highlight was coming back to our campsite and seeing our lunch cooking on an open fire, with a seating area made from leaves, to show us how food is traditionally eaten. He always went above and beyond, making sure we were happy, comfortable, making our experience extra special.Juan-Carlos and Ricardo made a great team and really put us at ease; everything was seamless, stress-free and perfectly timed! Our last night was our favourite, going deep into the jungle, wading through water, with both guides to help us spot many animals - they are a dream team! We learned about medicinal plants, jungle tales, tracked multiple species of monkey, and spotted lots of incredible animals at night: caiman, the rare monkey jungle frog, the bamboo rat, and a family of tiger snakes!Other highlights include swimming with pink & grey dolphins, piranha fishing, seeing yellow & blue and scarlet macaws, spotting a harpy eagle, seeing so many monkeys (squirrel, saki, tamarind, cappucin etc.), and tarantulas at night!Muchisimas gracias chicos- 11/10!

Yarapa River 3 days two nights I booked a tour with green treasure spontaneously. I wanted an authentic Amazon experience and to immerse myself in the Amazon! The tour was unbelievably great! I totally fell in love with the jungle. Yarapa River is a great place that includes two rivers that are part of the Amazon. On the tour you can see all kinds of animals including birds, dolphins, alligators, snakes, spiders, sloths and monkeys. The nature is beautiful, you explore many different river arms and lakes in a canoe and stop for short hikes in the jungle! The tour was very well organized and my guide Israel, a local, provided me with great information about plants, animals and life in the Amazon. Israel responded to my wishes and knows the best places. It is a unique experience. Top Class - 1 day Amazon unforgettable tour We did a 1 day Amazon private tour with Jim who is the owner of Amazon green tours and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. I contacted Jim 2 weeks before the trip and he was quick to respond via whatsap. Since we had only 1 full day in Iquitos, he suggested a day long excursion into the Amazon rainforest. Jim visited us at our hotel a day before the tour and explained all the details. On the day of the tour we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the Nanay harbour from where our tour began. We visited several animal shelters, The Yahha tribe, chased pink dolphins, swam in the Amazon and got photobombed by several monkeys!Jim & his wife who operate the tour are absolute professionals and provided a personal and authentic tour experience which is exactly what we were looking for. total jungle wilderness these guys are simply amazing! we're a family of four, we've been traveling for a year in south america and this was without a doubt, and by far, our best guided tour on the continent!from the start, the contact with jim was very smooth, he's a very good listener, immediately understood our needs ("total jungle wilderness") and came up with an exceptional package, deep into the jungle, with long hikes, an authentic camping experience, and the chance to come across with wildlife in their natural habitat. furthermore, as we were less than two weeks away from the end of our trip and running low on "fuel", jim was really comprehensive and helped us out with the budget as well. thanks again.once on the boat, we've met our two guides, alisson and alex, and the real fun begun. these guys were the perfect duo... working great together, complementary, fun, cool, chill, never in a rush, perfectly in sync with the stillness of the jungle around us, very knowledgeable about the life in the jungle, with exceptional survival skills, and above all... extremely adaptable and open to our requests!! never, not once, have we heard that something was not possible or out of reach! when we were expressing specific desires, they were listening, then thinking for a few seconds, and then the answer would always be "yes, we could do/try that". and boy, they delivered! with patience and skill, they always managed to succeed eventually, they were relentless, sometimes going to great length to satisfy all our whims... we remember how alex fell once in cayman infested waters while trying to catch an anaconda hiding deep under some branches... we were shocked and worried, but he was chill, didn't even hurry back into the boat. it's how he got his nickname "alex the predator" ;-)so, yes, overall, we were more than pleased with our "à la carte" jungle experience, and we cannot express more our gratitude to jim (who made it all possible) and to alisson and alex (who made it all amazing). hopefully we'll return one day and do a longer tour with these guys!!

Great experience! We did 3N/4D and Marcus were our guide. We really enjoyed time in jungle and Marcus stories. He had a lot of knowledge about plants and jungle. Only one activity we didn’t like - native people where not really true and show taken 3-5 minutes.

An experience not to be missed Wow what an experience!!! Two nights and three days of exploring the rainforest with the fabulous Billy and Alex. They literally took care of everything from putting up our tents, cooking all our meals (the best food we had in the three weeks we were in Peru) to taking us alligator spotting at night. From the very start it was easy to book with Jim who was always on hand if we had any questions and then picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel the day before. As two woman travelling on our own we were initially a little nervous going to the Amazon with two men considering there is no signal but we had no reason to worry - Billy and Alex were true gentlemen and professional. Every day was thoroughly planned out and they even let us go off on our own in the canoe for a couple of hours. We would both highly recommend Amazon Green Treasure and the team. We truly did feel like explorers rather than tourists.
