Conventional / Adventure Tour (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1:

• 09.00 am: Departure from Iquitos to the lodge by the mighty Amazon River by a slow-boat to avoid the ecological impact.
• 10.30 am: Visit to a Caiman-Shelter, where it´s possible to see white and black caimans, giant lily pads, the Amazon giant fish (Paiches) and feeding piranhas.
• 12.00 am: Arrival to the lodge in the jungle, with comfortable private rooms and bathrooms.
• 01.30 pm: Typical Lunch.
• 03.00 pm: Hiking throughout the jungle for three hour aprox. Where you could have the chance to come across with monkeys, insects, snakes and others; you will get to a local village called “San Rafael” to live the experiential tourism and to see the lifestyle at the jungle. Return to the lodge.
• 07.30 pm: Typical Dinner at the lodge.
• 08.30 pm: Nocturnal walk for looking for tarantulas and other insects (optional)

Day 2:

• 07.30 am: Breakfast.
• 08.30 am: Full day at “Yanayacu River”. We will navigate by the mighty Amazon River up-stream for 30 min. aprox. Until to get to San Juan de huashalado village. Navigation by the Yanayacu River and Trekking by the jungle to look for others kinds of monkeys, giant trees, water vines, sloths, iguanas. Lunch at the middle of the jungle. Fishing piranhas and other kinds of fish at this small river of dark or black water. Visiting to an Indian tribe called “Yahuas” to share part of its culture: Songs, dances, dialect, dress-style and others.
• Return to the lodge.
• 07.30 pm: Dinner.

Day 3:

• 05.00 am: Sunrise in the Amazon River and excursion to watch birds, such as herons, egrets, flycatchers, tanager and others.
• 08.30 am: Continental Breakfast.
• 09.30 am: Departure by a peque-peque boat (typical boat) in order to visit an exotic animal shelter, where you can find and play with different kind of monkeys, macaws, boas, toucans, sloths, coatis and others. Watching of pink and gray river dolphins at the Amazon river and it it`s possible to swim with them. Return to the lodge.
• 01.30 pm: Typical lunch.
• 03.00 pm: Return to Iquitos city.
• 04.30 pm: Arrival to the port in Iquitos and the hotel.

Includes: Transport in/out Airport - hotel in the city (hotel no included). Aquatic transport to the lodge in the jungle and for excursions. Lodging. Complete food (communicate in advance for vegetarian food). Excursion. Rubber boots. Flashlight. A naturalist guide.

Excludes: Air tickets, airport taxes, headlights or flashlights, raincoats, tips, handicrafts, bottle of water, alcoholic drinks and explorations not mentioned in the program.
