Conventional / Adventure Tour (3 days / 2 nights)

Day 1:

• 09.00 am: Departure from Iquitos to the lodge by the mighty Amazon River by a slow-boat to avoid the ecological impact.
• 10.30 am: Visit to a Caiman-Shelter, where it´s possible to see white and black caimans sp, giant lily pads and the Amazon giant fish (Paiches). We will be able to feed piranhas fish too.
• 11.30 am: Time to visit to an Indian tribe called “Yahuas” to share part of its culture: Songs, dances, dialect, dress-style, hunting style and others.
• 01.00 pm: Arrival to the lodge in the jungle, with comfortable private rooms.
• 01.30 pm: Typical Lunch at the lodge.
• 03.00 pm: you will get to a local village called “San Juan de Huashalado” to experiment the vivential tourism and to see the lifestyle at the jungle. Return to the lodge.
• 07.30 pm: Dinner at the refuge.
• 08.30 pm: Nocturnal walk for looking for tarantulas and other insects (optional)

Day 2:

• 08.30 am: Breakfast.
• 09.30 am: Visit to an exotic animal shelter, where you can find and play with different kind of monkeys, macaws, boas, toucans, sloths, coaties and others.
• 01.00 pm: Typical lunch.
• 03.00 pm: Fishing piranhas and other kinds of fish at the Amazonas River or to a small river of dark or black water. Spotting iguanas and looking for sloths. Time to look for dolphins and to swim with them.
• 07.00 pm: Dinner at the lodge. Free night.

Day 3:

• 05.00 am: Sunrise in the Amazon River and excursion at the beach of the Amazon River.
• 08.30 am: Breakfast.
• 09.30 am: Full day time. Navigation by the Yanayacu River and Trekking by the jungle to look for others kinds of monkeys, mammals, water vines, looking for snakes and boas. Knowledge about traditional medicine using plants and others. Preparation and time for Lunch in the middle of the jungle. Walks throughout the jungle to find real giant trees. Return to the lodge. And in our way back, we will search and spot caimans in the black water river. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4:

• 08.00 am: Breakfast.
• 09.30 am: Short excursion at the jungle in order to look for the prehistoric bird and other type of birds. Return to the lodge.
• 01.30 pm: Typical Lunch.
• 03.00 pm: Return to Iquitos city.
• 04.30 pm: Arrival to the port in Iquitos and the hotel.
   

Includes: Transport Airport-City-Airport. Aquatic transport to the lodge in the jungle and for excursions. Lodging at the jungle. Complete food (communicate in advance for vegetarian food). Excursion. Entrance fee. Rubber boots. A naturalist guide.

Excludes: Air tickets, airport taxes, headlights or flashlights, raincoats, tips, handicrafts, bottle of water, alcoholic drinks and explorations not mentioned in the program.
